"LIGHT" - Trinity College Dublin
To celebrate the theme of "Light" during this years Trinity Week, Eventco provided production and design for the Library Department of Trinity College Dublin.
The project was spread over three sites, the Berkeley Library, the Nassau Street entrance to the college and the 1937 Reading Room. The projections on the Berkeley Library and Nassau Street entrance consisted of various images of Trinity College's vast and stunning collection of documents. The third special projection was a mapping onto the 1937 Reading Room wall. This installation was a memorial of images and names to the fallen staff and students of TCD during World War I. Video designer Brian Kenny used the existing features of the buildings architecture to animate the memorial whilst keeping a respectful tone to the installation.
